Marine Insurance:
A marine insurance certificate can be sent with the shipping documents. If damage or loss is sustained
then either you or Multifreight can lodge a claim in the country of origin or country of arrival. If
the certificate is completed correctly, it protects the goods from door to door. Usually, we insure
for the CIF value plus 20%. The premium is based on the dollar value and will have a pre-determined
excess.
